LA FATA DELLE API – THE MAGIC OF HONEY – ITS SECRET IN VAL BREMBANA<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Honey is one of the excellences of the area and La Fata delle Api beekeeping is a concrete proof of this. It’s a complex work, inextricably linked to the cycles of nature and to the life cycle of bees.<\/em><\/p>\n

Pierluigi and his children takes care of one hundred and fifty hives. The beekeeping, <\/em>the transformation laboratory and the shop are<\/em> located in Piazza Brembana. In fact, the location in Piazza Brembana is the site of the beehives only during the period of ‘parking’, because in the rest of the year the production requires that the wooden houses are moved across the whole valley chasing the blooms of the different flower’s species. In addition to honey, the farm also produces propolis, royal jelly, pollen and jars of dried fruit in honey. Not only that: work has begun to rediscover Hydromel, an ancient drink obtained by the fermentation of honey.<\/em><\/p>\n

The target of the visit is to explain and show you the magical world of bees up to the creation of honey. In the laboratory you can watch the entire process of honey production, all stages from the extraction to the potting of this sweet and precious food. A visual, olfactory and gustatory experience, which will end with the tasting of the delicacies of La Fata delle Api.<\/b><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
